2021 Wattle Festival Mini Events!

It’s been a long time in planning for the Hurstbridge Wattle Festival organising committee.

As everyone is aware, large community events look very different this year, if they are able to run at all. Having to cancel the 2020 festival was difficult, so the organising committee worked hard to find a way to bring this years festival to the community, in a COVID-safe way.

We need to keep number of people attending to a minimum and to this end we won’t be having the steam train nor running the night market. We will need to keep the event to a few pre booked happenings so that contact tracing can take place and we limit the number of people in anyone place at any one time.

We may not be able to run the normal festival, but…

…enter, Mini Events!
You can still enjoy many parts of the Wattle Festival that are known and loved, but to manage crowd numbers, they will be run as FREE events. This enables organisers to implement contact tracing and operate within strict density limits.

From the CWA Devonshire Teas, to the Vintage Cars, it’s simple to reserve a spot by booking online via our website. Some events, if they aren’t at capacity, will allow you to attend without registration by scanning the QR code at the entry point.

Keep in touch with us via our Facebook page or view the event booking page HERE.

We hope to see you on Sunday 29th August!

(Mini event program is subject to COIVD restrictions at the time of the festival)
